On Palm Sunday, Jesus, our King, did not enter Jerusalem on a big war horse with an army behind Him. Instead, He rode in on a donkey for His triumphal entry. He came not to force control, but to offer a new way of peace. He offered a kingdom built on love, not violence. He was a King who washed feet, prayed for His enemies, and forgave them, even as he died on the cross. Jesus is our King, the Prince of Peace, the Savior of the world. He is entering into the story of our life.The Jews were waiting for their king. They had an idea of what it should look like. But Jesus stands in opposition to the world’s way. In the same way, peace is not what we think it is. Peace is not something that you earnIt is something that He gives. Peace isn’t the absence of our problems; it’s the presence of Jesus.
