What to Expect
What can I expect at a typical Sunday church service in Argyle?
We open up our lobby doors about 15 minutes prior to service times to give you a chance to grab some free coffee, greet friends, and find a seat. We usually start with some upbeat music from the Cross Timbers worship band while the lyrics show up on the big screen so you can sing along. Then, we hear a Bible based message of hope from one of our teaching pastors. The entire service lasts about 45 minutes. Each week, we will suggest simple ways for you to receive hope and give hope in the name of Jesus. We hope that what you learn on a Sunday morning will inspire you to take action and apply the message throughout the week.
What about the Kids?
If you have children from birth through 5th grade, you can drop them off at CT Kids while you attend service. When you arrive, head to our CT Kids entrance on the left side of the building to meet our friendly greeters who will help you check your kids in and direct them to the appropriate classroom based on their age group. You’ll get a name tag sticker for your child and a matching one for you to use when picking up your child. The kids will have a time of worship, games, crafts, and hear a Bible story. We have a monthly theme and memory verse, so the concepts are reinforced for several weeks at a time. We have CT Kids pastors on staff, as well as many dedicated serve team leaders who have all been background checked and trained on safety and protocols. If you want to meet one of our CT Kids pastors or schedule a tour before your first visit, let us know!
What Should I Wear?
We welcome everyone as they are at Cross Timbers. This is a place where you will be loved, welcomed, and accepted. Our dress code is casual, so feel free to wear your Sunday best or your favorite pair of jeans. We want you to be comfortable and come as you are.
